Tell me about your business.
I'm the Founder and Principal of IMPACT Commercial Real Estate. IMPACT Commercial Real Estate is a commercial real estate firm focused on making an impact on businesses and communities through creative, thoughtful, and dynamic real estate services. IMPACT offers a full range of real estate services including, but not limited to, exclusive brokerage representation for Sellers, Buyers, Landlords, and Tenants, broker price opinions, real estate consulting services, and strategic property dispositions.
How’d you get started?
I began my commercial real estate career in early 2009. I started IMPACT after working in the industry and realizing that the larger firms weren’t set up for both work & family. I didn’t like the constraints and old ways of working. Me & my husband were foster parents looking to adopt and grow our family. The large corporate structure was not set up to support that.
It was important to me to be able to create my own way and go out on my own. It was scary to take such a leap but it has all paid off. I get to make up our own rules with no corporate restraints. I’ve built an environment that supports individual interests and flexibility to try a lot of new things.
Tell me a little more about yourself
I really love my job. I find passion in helping my clients and making a positive impact on businesses and the community through commercial real estate.
My husband and I built our family through adoption and live in Littleton, CO. I believe in truly serving my clients and the communities in which they live and work. For example, for every small business deal that we are a part of, IMPACT will purchase a Chamber membership on their behalf and hold a ribbon cutting. We even like to call it a “business shower”!
What do you love about Erie?
Erie has so much potential for businesses. It has a great community that supports its own businesses and still has a "small town" charm. There is a tremendous opportunity for employers to come to a town like Erie and put down roots. We love doing deals in Erie and sharing what it has to offer our clients.
